The PTA is a National, State & Local Organization Advocating for our Children
Please join and show that you care and are invested in the welfare of our children: -You are not required to volunteer – but we’d love it if you did! -100% membership gives credence to our PTA voice in advocating for our children with the Legislature and sends a message to Olympia that our school and district are made up of parents who are concerned and involved. -PTA is the largest child advocacy group in the United States.
Activities and opportunities organized & funded by Challenger PTA:
-Popsicle Social at Meet the Teacher -BINGO Night -Art Program at Challenger is fully funded by the PTA -“Science to Go” enrichment in the classroom -Eager Reader (held in March) -Festival of Cultures and STEM Science Fair -Physical Education and Music - Equipment for both -Comet Cash - Full-time teachers and specialists are given a set amount to help purchase supplies for their classroom -Teacher Grants - An opportunity for the staff to apply for funds to purchase items that will enhance student learning. These become the property of Challenger Elementary. Examples include an audio library, classroom sets of books, Active board, -Teacher Appreciation Week -Book Fair & Book Swap -Art Walk Many More!
