What is a Glow Dance Party?

At the Glow Dance Party, the Challenger MPR will be transformed into a glowing, neon room. The lights will be turned down low and black lights will illuminate the neon décor.

 

What do I wear to a Glow Dance Party?

Anything that will glow under a black light.  White, neon or glow in the dark clothes are the best, but the most important thing to remember is that you want to wear something that you can dance in! For safety reasons, please don’t wear black. 

 

What else will be at the Glow Dance Party?

There will be water and snacks for purchase. Cash only please.

 

What do I bring for the Food Drive?

 A donated item will be your ticket in the door. 

The Issaquah Food Bank has a set list of items that are most in need. Please only bring the following items:

We kindly ask for only unopened, unexpired items from this list.

 

  • Hearty Soup (Progresso, Campbell's Chunky, etc.)
  • Peanut Butter (16 oz size jars only please)
  • Canned Tuna
  • Pasta 
  • Canned Chicken
  • Hamburger Helper/Pasta Roni
  • Oatmeal
  • White Rice (2 lb bags only)
  • Canned Pasta (Chef Boyardee, Annies)
  • Protein Bars
  • Individual snacks for kids lunches
  • Jam/Jelly
  • Cereal
  • Pull-ups Diapers (any size)
  • Baby wipes

When is the event?

We will be dancing on November 18th.  The doors will open at 6:30pm and lights will come on at 8pm.  All students must have grown up with them during the entire event.

Set up, clean up, supervise, work at concessions (must be a PTA member)

All volunteers must be approved by the district.
